The gathering for grad students on the first Friday of the month, called First Friday Downloads, provides a casual mechanism for disseminating information across graduate students from different cohorts and, sometimes, across students and faculty. It promotes mingling in a programmed, yet non-threatening environment to facilitate the exchange of ideas and experiences and to answer questions.
Friday, November 1: Faculty Flash Talks– Our Econ faculty will provide 3-minute talk about their current research interests. Designed to help graduate students select advisors to work with on their research.
