Within the Economics major here at UNC, students have the opportunity to concentrate in the area of financial economics through the Quantitative Financial Economics (QFE) program. The program is designed to train students as financial economists, providing all the quantitative tools necessary to bring theory into practice. Last month, QFE hosted Jorian Hoover, (UNC alum), Corporate Finance Manager with Microsoft.
