The alums of UNC Economics play an important role in advising the faculty, staff and students. Some offer internships for our current students; others return to speak with the students of our Economics Club about job opportunities after graduation. We are also grateful for the financial contributions made by many former students; these contributions make it possible to offer opportunities to our undergrads that would be impossible to fund otherwise.

Here we highlight our alumni and alumnae in two ways. The first is through a series of profiles that describe current and former students: you may find a classmate in the mix. The second is through the Economics Department Advisory Group (EDAG), a group of alums who assemble in Chapel Hill once a semester to work with faculty, staff and students in repositioning the major for the demands of 21st Century job opportunities.
