Can Tian received her PhD from the University of Pennsylvania. Before joining the department in 2018, she was an assistant professor at Shanghai University of Finance and Economics and then at Washington State University. Her current research interests include theoretical and quantitative exploration of how firm and industry dynamics interact with business cycles.
