DATA Science Seminar: Kang Jian

Kang currently works as a senior data science manager in Teladoc Health. He leads his team to develop and maintain machine learning models, generate business intelligence through deep analysis, and automate marketing reporting to optimize engagement marketing campaigns. His team supports data-science-driven personalized marketing through the whole member journey including activation, engagement, upselling, and reactivation. Before joining Teladoc, Kang has 10 years of working experiences in the Consumer Behavior Modeling team in Bank of America. During that period, Kang developed different types of models such as risk, marketing, pricing and forecasting models to support Consumer Banking. He also served as co-chair of Asian Leadership Network of Bank of America to promote D&I in the bank and communities. Kang lives with his wife and two kids in Cranbury, New Jersey.
