EconAid Center
The EconAid Center provides free, drop-in tutoring with undergraduate peer tutors, for students in the core economics courses (101, 400, 410, and 420) as well as select upper-division economics courses. It is also a space for professors, TAs, and ULAs to hold office hours and help sessions as well as a general study space for economics students. Please check the schedule below to see when help will be available for your course. The center opens on the first day of class and closes on the last day of exams. (Peer Tutoring will begin the 3rd week of classes). The EconAid Center is closed on days that the University is closed.
Changes Due to COVID-19
Due to COVID-19, and in accordance with the latest public health guidelines, EconAid Center is continuing to offer tutoring opportunities via Zoom every day except Saturday. Please type your course and question topic upon entry to the Zoom meeting room.
Free tutoring for the following courses will still be offered: 101, 400, 410, and 420.
We will also have at least one Peer Tutor who has taken 415, 440, 445, 460, 470, 480, 485, 486, 490, 511, 570, and 590, and also have tutors who have used Stata in courses beyond Econ400 and are designated as Stata Peer Tutors. Students can go to them for help with Stata related questions in Econ400, Econ470/570, and other 500-level courses that have a Stata component. We also have one tutor who can help students with Matlab.

Peer Tutoring Schedule by Course
Beginning Tuesday 1/21, we will have peer tutoring available every day of the week for 101, 400, 410, and 420. We will also have at least one Peer Tutor who has taken 425, 440, 445, 460, 465, 470, 486, 510, 511, 520, 545, 570, 571, 590 (Rabinovich) and also have tutors who have used Stata or Matlab in courses beyond Econ400 and are designated as Stata or Matlab Peer Tutors.

Tutoring Opportunities
The EconAid Center is accepts applications for Fall Peer tutoring the preceding April & for Spring Peer Tutoring the preceding November. All Peer tutors must be Economics majors (other majors considered if student has a strong economics background) with at least a 3.5 GPA in economics courses and a 3.3 GPA overall. Student must have completed ECON101 and at least be concurrently enrolled in ECON410 or ECON420.
