What is your favorite memory of Gardner Hall?
Kyle McCay (2010) and Meredith Sapp (2011) both remembered Gardner fondly, but on 14 May they created a brand-new memory that is sure to stay with them for some time.
Meredith and Kyle are both Tar Heel born: Meredith from Kernersville, NC and Kyle from Sylva, NC. They first met in Gardner B08 in the course Decision Models for Economics during the fall semester of 2008. They each earned their BA in economics from Carolina (with Meredith also completing the Entrepreneurship minor) and went their separate ways. After spending some time in different parts of the country, they reconnected in summer 2014. They now both work at BB&T and live in Winston Salem.
Kyle wanted to pop the question, but in a way that maximized her likelihood of saying “yes”. Using impeccable economic logic, he found the perfect answer — I’ll propose in Gardner Hall! We just received this report from Kyle:
