May 10 was a landmark day for many of UNC’s seniors:  they graduated!  Of the 3783 undergraduates receiving degrees from Carolina that day, almost 10 percent majored in Economics.

The graphic below illustrates the provenance of all of those undergraduates, and as you can see Economics is #3 — right behind Biology and Psychology.  (We will have to have a talk with the graphic artists, though — while the piggy bank is nice, our graduates are just as “brainy” as those in Psychology.)  Click on the graphic to see a larger version.
