Kwaku Addae-Ankrah

Teaching Assistant Professor

Born and raised in a small rural farming community in the Western North region of Ghana, Kwaku graduated with a first class honors bachelor’s degree in economics and mathematics from the University of Ghana where he also worked as a teaching assistant of mathematics before migrating to the United States for graduate studies. Kwaku has a Ph.D. in economics and a master’s degree in economics and applied econometrics from University of Delaware, a master’s degree in finance from the Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University and a master’s degree in pure mathematics from Ohio University.

Due to his multifaceted academic background, he has interests in teaching many courses ranging from macroeconomics, microeconomics, econometrics, financial economics, financial mathematics, financial derivatives, financial modeling, real analysis and machine learning.

His research interests are in the areas of financial economics, applied econometrics, development economics, machine learning and its application in finance.
