Christopher Roark is originally from Texas where he received his BA in Economics from the University of Texas at Austin in 2008. He received his PhD from Duke University in 2017. Prior to joining the faculty at UNC in 2022, he was an assistant teaching professor at the University of Chicago. He has taught courses in macroeconomics, finance, econometrics, and statistics.
