Women in Economics
Women in Economics was formed in November 2016 with over 25 women. The purpose of the group is to promote gender equality, provide a supportive platform for female graduate students in economics to develop the skill set needed to succeed in the workforce, as economists. The group plans to host more events throughout the coming year such as social events, talks and lectures, seminars, job market and industry panels. The group meets once a month on Thursdays in Gardner 211.
