Women in Economics was formed in November 2016 with over 25 members. The purpose of the group is to promote diversity within the economics major and provide a supportive platform for students in economics to develop the skill set needed to succeed in the workforce, as economists. The group hosts many events throughout the year such as social events, talks and lectures, seminars, job market and industry panels.
